The Bible says there are no excuses for people today. No excuses that God will accept from man regarding man’s reasons for not believing in Him. The Bible says God has revealed His existence to Man in Creation. The world all around us is the proof that man always demands to see for the existence of God. The Bible says –<\/p>\n
“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” – Romans 1:19-20<\/p>\n
So, according to the Bible, the proof of God’s existence is right in front of our eyes all around us\u2026\u00a0 God has shown it to us. The design and function of the earth, the universe, the things that are all around us that display the handiwork of an extremely intelligent creator and designer are witnesses of God. The proof is actually in our eyes too\u2026 in the incredible design of our human bodies. So much so, that He says that man is without excuse. Not that he has weak excuses, but that he has NO excuses. None.<\/p>\n
What man does have is a rebellious spirit. It is not that man does not believe in God, but that he wants to rebel against Him. The Bible says that all men know the truth of God’s existence, but they do not want to keep that knowledge. They want to be their own gods and try to do so by denying the one true god. The Bible verse that precedes the two quoted above is –<\/p>\n
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” – Romans 1:18<\/p>\n
This declares that men hold the truth<\/strong> God exists but they hold it in un<\/strong>righteousness. Before being reconciled to God man is not righteous. He is in opposition to God. He is in a state of rebellion against God. Even when seeing and hearing of all that God has done for mankind. God through the prophet Ezekiel puts it this way:<\/p>\n “Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.” – Ezekiel 12:2<\/p>\n Even though our gracious God has given man eyes to see and ears to hear, man insists on rebelling. Many times when Jesus walked the earth and spoke to man he said, “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” In other words, what He was saying was, “I’ve given you proof\u2026 you can see it and you can hear what I am telling you. You need only to stop refusing to believe all that your eyes and ears are communicating to you about me.”<\/p>\n “I never knew about you” is not going to work as an excuse. God has made Himself known.<\/p>\n “I don’t believe you exist” is not going to work as an excuse. God says man holds the truth inside.<\/p>\n “I won’t believe it until I see it” is not going to work as an excuse. God has made His existence clearly manifest.<\/p>\n Man can invent all kinds of excuses, but God has already warned us that He will accept none of them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Bible says there are no excuses for people today.
